MIAMI-DADE COUNTY

JUNE 2025 REPORT

 

High job creation.
It ranks first in job growth, representing 1.4% annual growth, followed by Fort Lauderdale, Broward, and West Palm Beach (Bureau of Labor Statistics).

Low unemployment rate.
One of the lowest unemployment rates in the U.S. was reported, at around 2.6% (Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta).

Growth in dynamic sectors.
Boosting jobs in infrastructure, tourism, and services.
In construction, it grew by more than 5.9%.
In tourism, leisure, hospitality, and entertainment, it grew by more than 2.5%.


Technology industry.
Growth of more than 22% with an 18% increase in wages. 

Education and healthcare services.
Growth by 2.2%.

Financial activities.
Growth by 11.9%.

Professional and information services.
Likewise, the commercial sector grew by 8.9%.
Information services grew by 7.6%.
